Whilst I have made every effort to make U-Sew easy to understand
and correct in every detail, it is inevitable that some errors or omissions may
occur. U-Sew is made available to you on the understanding that I cannot
accept responsibility for problems you encounter for any reason, including omissions,
errors, or unclear instructions.
I have found that there are three ways to do anything:
- The right way
- The wrong way
- Your way
The right way is what you will read in books (including
the instructions that come with your sewing machine) and what a good educator
will teach. This way is the formal, recommended approach. It will
always work if you follow the instructions exactly.
The wrong way is how you should never do it.
This is what books and educators warn you against. The wrong way
will produce failures, or at best inferior, unpredictable results.
Your own way is how YOU do it! It's a variation
of or alternative to the right way. This is the result of practice and experience,
and is the way that you feel comfortable with, which works for you, and which
suits your style.
What I have described in these pages is
what I consider to be my way. This may or may not suit your style
of working, but I urge you to develop your own way based on my approach
and ideas.
